Paulsen Shows Class as Pakistan Edge Out Australia

Pakistan chased down 156 to beat Australia by 6 wickets in the IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup 2025 warm-up at National Bank Stadium Karachi.

Aussie number three Steven Paulsen struck a superb 78 off 51 balls, supported by opener Justin Poole contributing 27 from 30 balls.

Nadeem Javed’s fluent 54 off 36 and Humayun Farhat’s 32 set the platform, while Sohail Khan (2/23) and Atif Maqbool (2/38) were the standout bowlers.

A strong tune-up performance from Pakistan as both sides refine their preparations for the tournament ahead.
