Cricket Australia Masters (CAM) over 40s has announced that two additional T20I matches have been scheduled for Australia in the build up to the IMC T20 World Cup beginning on November 22 in Karachi.

Australia will take on Pakistan on November 19 at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, followed by the West Indies on November 20, also at the National Bank Stadium.

Australian Coach, Nathan King believes the T20I matches are an important step in the build up to the World Cup.

He said, “Both Pakistan and West Indies will be strong contenders to win the World Cup, with both teams including former Test and ODI stars in their squads.”

“These Internationals are also a great opportunity for our squad to get a hit out at the main stadium ahead of the tournament to get used to the conditions.”

Australia kicks off its World Cup campaign on November 22 against Sri Lanka, at the National Bank Stadium.
